The Athletic Training Education Program at Eastern Kentucky University is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). Admission to the athletic training major is competitive. Due to accreditation standards and available number of affiliated sites and clinical instructors, the ATEP must limit the number of students admitted to the program.
This page provides the necessary information for individuals wanting to complete the application processes to gain entrance into Eastern Kentucky University's nationally accredited Athletic Training Education Program. Listed below are all the requirements to apply to become admitted into the Athletic Training Education program. All the components of the application process must be completed and submitted by the required deadlines. These deadlines vary semester to semester. An applicant is encouraged to contact the Program Director at the beginning of each semester to know the exact date the application materials are due.
